Pack a simple travel care kit

Prepare records, familiar supplies, and a plan for help.

Discuss fitness for travel when your pet has ongoing health needs. Check destination and transport requirements, and make sure identification and contact details are current.

Bring familiar food, water supplies, health records, and prescribed medication instructions. Practise carrier use beforehand, secure your pet during transport, and identify veterinary help at the destination. Allow a quiet settling-in period.
