Choose food for the pet in front of you

Species and life stage matter when choosing a daily diet.

Choose a complete, balanced food intended for your pet’s species and life stage. Cats and dogs have different nutritional needs; dog food is not a suitable long-term replacement for cat food.

Record what and how much your pet eats, including treats. Discuss portions and any supplements with your veterinarian, especially during growth, pregnancy, or illness.
