Pyoderma in dogs

Bacterial skin disease can have an underlying trigger.

Pyoderma commonly refers to bacterial skin infection. Its appearance varies with the depth of the problem, and allergies, parasites, or other conditions may contribute.

A veterinarian may examine skin samples and sometimes recommend culture or further tests. Avoid choosing antibiotics from a symptom list. Follow the prescribed plan and arrange any recommended recheck.
