Make the most of a wellness visit

Bring the little details you notice at home.

Routine veterinary visits help review a dog’s general health and preventive care. Discuss the appropriate visit schedule for their age and health.

Before a visit, note changes in eating, drinking, toileting, activity, and behavior. Bring medication names and vaccination records. Ask about dental care and parasite prevention suited to your dog.

When to contact a vet

New or worsening symptoms may need an earlier appointment rather than waiting for a routine visit.
